Walled in

Over the past couple days we’ve been putting up main cabin wall sections. There are 11 wall sections including the 45-degree section that will hold the front door. This project would have been a lot simpler if I had made the floor plan a bit simpler, but then we would have ended up with an barely usable tiny hut on a relatively huge platform.

Now we begin working on the upper loft section. The goal for this section is to have a large enough area to comfortably sleep without adding too much more material to the structure. It’s probably going to be a challenge matching up all the loft wall sections with the various angles of our cannibalized wall sections.
